Police hunt MAYONNAISE thieves who left Co-op with trolley packed with Hellmann's

Police are on the hunt for a pair of brazen crooks who waltzed out of a Co-op supermarket with a trolley packed full of Hellmann's mayonnaise.

The two men were seen on CCTV leaving the store with their stolen items before loading the goods into a Ford Focus, TeesideLive reports.

The Ford Focus has the registration YE58 FK and was seen driving away from the supermarket off Mitchell Way in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire.

And now police in Gloucestershire have released CCTV images of the pair in connection with the alleged theft, which happened in Upper Rissington on Thursday, March 17.

The items had been reported stolen at around 3.35pm and the men were described as both being white with one wearing a black top with white stripes down the arm and carrying a basket.

The second man was pushing a trolley and had an orange T-shirt on. His trolley also contained other items but was full of multiple bottles of Hellmann's mayonnaise.

Investigating officers in Gloucestershire are making enquiries including the links to the Ford Focus they drove off in, but have yet to identify the two men.

Police want to spread the appeal far and wide (Gloucestershire police)

Police officers are asking people to come forward with any information or whether they witnessed this incident, recognise the men from the images or saw them in the area at the time, to get in touch.

If you have any information, you can contact the police by completing the online form on the Gloucestershire Police's website and quoting incident number 270 of March 17.
