Police hunt for 82-year-old woman missing from Aberdeen for two days

POLICE are appealing for help as they are becoming “increasingly concerned” for an 82-year-old woman missing from Aberdeen.

Alice Mitchell was last seen around 11pm on Monday, September 9 in the Forrit Brae area of Bucksburn.

She is described as being around 5ft 1ins tall, slim build, with short grey hair.

It is unknown what she is currently wearing although police said it may be a black bomber style jacket or cream jumper with zip at the front.

Sergeant Ross Geddes said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alice’s welfare and it is important that we make sure she is safe and well as soon as we can.

“We are asking anyone who has seen Alice to get in touch with us immediately.”

Anyone with information should contact Police on 101, quoting incident 1131 on September 11.
