Police hunt driver who fled after crashing motor into wall on Scots road

Cops are hunting two men who crashed a motor into a lamppost in Dundee and fled the scene.

A blue BMW 335d estate smashed into two lampposts and a wall before coming to a halt on the A923 Lochee Road near the junction with Lower Pleasance at around 5.25pm last night.

The two occupants abandoned the vehicle before police arrived on the scene.

The force have launched a probe and enquiries are ongoing to identify and trace the pair.

Footage from the scene shows the motor lying in the middle of the road, with damage to the front end, and windows smashed.

Debris, including the lampposts, can be seen strewn across the road.
