A vile thief who stole a dog from her owner while she was having a suspected heart attack in the street is being hunted by police.
Kat Conway was walking her Shih Poo called Jessie when she collapsed on the pavement in central London.
Paramedics were called and the crew rushed the 50-year-old to hospital.
Kat said she remembered a man with blond curly hair who was about 5ft 7ins tall when she had the suspected heart attack.
She said he initially came to offer her help but then took her apricot-coloured dog.
Kat was walking along Euston Road near the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel at 2pm on Monday when she fell to the pavement.
Distraught Kat said today: "I'm really worried about her.
"She's always with me and is my shadow. This is breaking my heart and all I want is her back home so I can cuddle her."
Kat has had Jessie since she was a puppy when she got her as a rescue dog.
She has since been discharged from hospital and is back at her home in Paisley, near Glasgow, Scotland.
"I don't want to say anything bad as it might make things worse," she added.
"But I feel terrible and just want my Jessie home safe and sound."
Jessie's front legs are bowed and she is neutered and chipped. The details are registered correctly to Kat.
She was wearing a matching collar, harness and leash with a pink and white tartan pattern.
An online appeal has been launched on Facebook called Find Wee Jessie.
It reads: "We believe the blond haired man has her dog.
"But as yet he does not have seemed to have contacted the police or dog warden to report that he has the dog.
"We are looking for any hotel staff or passers by who witness what happened."
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police are investigating an allegation of theft after a dog was reportedly stolen in Euston Road, NW1, on the afternoon of Monday, 6 June.
"Officers have taken a statement from the informant and enquiries are ongoing."
