Police have launched a desperate search after a woman was seen screaming in a white van driven by a bare-chested man.
Cops have appealed for witnessed after the vehicle was spotted on Sunday night in Cheylesmore, Coventry.
Police say it is not clear what has happened but they desperate to find the woman "safe and well".
A spokesperson for Coventry Police said: "We’re investigating a potential kidnap in Coventry after receiving a report of a woman screaming from inside a van as it was driven off.
"It happened at the junction Quinton Park & Blondvil St in Cheylesmore at 8.40pm.
"We're told a bare-chested man drove away in a white van & that a woman was screaming inside.
"We're making local enquiries. It’s not clear what’s happened & there could be an innocent explanation but our priority is making sure if a woman was in the van she's safe and well."
Anyone with information is urged to call 999 quoting log number 3459 from March 13.
The terrifying incident happened the same day that West Bromich Police issued an urgent appeal to find a different missing woman after being dragged into a BMW by a mystery man.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident happened in the Hill Top area at around 9.40pm on Sunday.
They believe she may have been kidnapped.
Officers believe the woman was waiting by a bus stop when she was approached by a man who, after exchanging words, pulled her across the road and into a vehicle being driven by another man.
A witness has described the woman as being in distress and shouting and the police have serious concerns for her wellbeing.
Officers have launched an investigation to identify and find the woman, and trace the men and car involved.
The man who approached the woman is described as white, bald and in his 40s, while the car was believed to be a grey BMW X5.
The police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed what happened - or any motorists with dash-cam who may have caught the vehicle on video - to get in touch by calling 999 and quote log 3602 from 13 March.
