A police helicopter was seen flying overhead on Sunday afternoon (April 2) following a reported firearms discharge in Little Hulton.
Officers attended the scene to reports of what is believed to be a firearms discharge in the area of Hulton Avenue shortly after 4pm. An investigation was launched, with two police scenes put in place nearby as enquiries were carried out.
There were no injuries reported in the incident and no arrests have been made, Greater Manchester Police added. Pictures from the scene show a police helicopter circling the area with a police car pictured along Wicheaves Crescent.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called to reports of what was believed to be a firearms discharge in the Hulton Avenue area of Worsley this afternoon, Sunday 2 April 2023 at approximately 4.10pm.
"There are no reported injuries and no arrests have been made. There are currently two scenes in place, one on Wicheaves Crescent and the other on Worsley Grove, whilst investigations are ongoing."
