The body of a missing man has been found in a Lanarkshire loch.
The family of Michael Fitzpatrick, who had been reported missing from Cumbernauld, have been told.
Police launched an appeal to trace the missing last Wednesday, with the 58-year-old having last been seen on Sunday, November 13.
His body was found in Banton Loch, Kilsyth, around 3.35pm on Saturday and his death is not believed to be suspicious.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
