Police have uncovered a cannabis farm in a shut down children's soft play centre in Gateshead.
Officers were made aware of a suspected cannabis farm that had been found in The Ark in Crawcrook, Gateshead at around 1pm on Thursday.
Police officers arrived at the scene and have since launched an investigation into the discovery.

Officers could be seen on Friday filling a skip and carrying out enquiries in the area. They have appealed to anyone with information to get in contact with them.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “At about 1pm yesterday (Thursday) officers were made aware of a suspected cannabis farm that had been found at a premises on Main Road, Crawcrook.
“An investigation has been launched into the discovery and enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved. Anyone with information can contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of our website or by calling 101 quoting log NP-20220623-0509.”
