Police officers cracked down on car meets on the Wirral last night, branding them a 'nuisance' and a 'danger'.
It follows complaints of damage and antisocial behaviour in Bromborough
Officers from Mersey Police Wirral's Team Beb operation have been working with the Wirral Anti-Social Behaviour Team to prevent the ongoing meets.

The force tweeted that these events have been causing nuisance and danger to the community.
In a tweet late on Tuesday night, police said: "Officers from #Teambeb have been working with the Wirral Anti-Social Behaviour Team to prevent ongoing car meets in Bromborough.
"These events have been causing nuisance and danger to the community. For more information and to get involved visit https://crowd.in/uJXaAR."
As reported in the Liverpool Echo, Wirral council set up a public space protection order in an attempt to crack down on anti-social behaviour, such as the car meets in Bromborough, which are said to have caused "damage to the highway and street furniture as well as causing nuisance, annoyance and disruption to members of the public, business owners and their employees."
