Officers were called to an altercation after people were seen fighting with weapons. Nottinghamshire Police were called to Foxhall Road in Forest Fields at 7:25pm on Tuesday, May 16.
It was reported that the groups were seen fighting with weapons, and so specialist officers were also deployed to the area. It is believed that some of those involved fled the scene on bikes and scooters.
Chief Inspector Neil Humphris said: "Officers remain in the area this evening and we ask local residents to be vigilant. Anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage, should call 101 quoting incident 707 of 16 May."
