Police cordon off Bulwell street as emergency services called to incident

Police taped off a street in Nottingham after a man collapsed in the street. Emergency services were called to Bulwell High Road just after 12.05pm on Friday (September 2).

A man was taken to hospital following the incident, the force confirmed. The police cordon remained in place while officers carried out investigations.

The incident is not believed to be suspicious, Nottinghamshire Police said. Further inquiries continue.

Inspector Abi Goucher, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Emergency services were called to Bulwell High Road, Bulwell, just after 12.05pm today (2 September) following reports of someone collapsing in the street.

“A man was taken to hospital following the incident, which is not believed to be suspicious. A police cordon remains in place, while further enquiries are carried out to establish exactly what happened.

“Anyone with any information is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident 251 of 2 September 2022, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
