Police have cordoned off a busy area near the train station after reports of a medical emergency. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 11.20am on Saturday (September 3).
A cordon has been set up on Carrington Street after officers were called to a medical incident. No criminal offence has been disclosed at this time, Nottinghamshire Police confirmed.
Witnesses reported that the entrance to the train station on Carrington Street has also been taped off. The bus stop has also been cordoned off according to reports. Police will remain at the scene. following the incident.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "We have been called to reports of a medical incident in Carrington Street at 11.19am this morning. No criminal offences have been disclosed. Police will remain at the scene temporarily."
