Police cordon and forensics tent after man is stabbed in Liverpool

There was a large police presence on a Croxteth street today after a man was violently attacked last night.

Police and paramedics were called to Carr Lane East at around 6.30pm on Saturday, March 11, after the 24-year-old was stabbed. A 44-year-old man and two women, aged 46 and 49 and all from Liverpool, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The two women are also suspected of section 18 wounding with intent.

Police remained at the scene this morning with part of the footpath cordoned off as a blue tent was set up in the front garden of a terraced home. Forensics officers in white overalls, hair nets and face masks could be seen going in and out of the property, while a police car and van remained parked on the street outside.
