Police are continuing to investigate the sudden death of a man in North Belfast.
The emergency services were called to Glenrosa Street in the Tiger's Bay area on Friday, February 4, following reports of a death of a man.
Police, forensics and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service were called to the scene with residents saying they were shocked to hear about the incident.
Witnesses said there was a heavy police presence in the area for a number of hours.
Following the incident Councillor Dean McCullough said: "Police are at the scene of a serious incident in Glenrosa Street, Tigers Bay. I would appeal to people, particularly young people, to allow them the time and space they need.
"They are there for this incident alone."
Police continue to be at the scene of the incident and have said that investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently at the scene of the sudden death of a man in the Glenrosa Street area of Belfast.
"Enquiries into the circumstances are continuing.
"There are no further details at this time."
