Police conclude investigation into the 'very sad death' of Newark toddler, 2

A police investigation into the death of a Nottinghamshire toddler has been concluded. Louisiana Brooke Dolan died in a fire at the Sealands Caravan Park, near Skegness, on August 23, 2021.

Louisiana was two years old when she died. Mum Natasha Broadley, of Newark, survived with her three older siblings. A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police has said: "We have concluded our investigation into the circumstances that surrounded the very sad death of a two-year-old girl at Ingoldmells, on 23 August 2021.

"Following an extensive investigation, no criminal charges will be bought in connection with the incident, and a file will be passed to the Coroner. Our thoughts are with the family."

In the weeks after her death, pink ribbons were placed across Nottinghamshire in memory of Louisiana, with balloons being released in Newark and brightly lit vans and lorries passing through Skegness and Ingoldmells as part of a touching tribute.
