Police are concerned for the safety of a 13-year-old boy who is missing from his home in Matlock and who has connections in Nottinghamshire. Derbyshire Police says that Zakai has not been seen since around 9am on Tuesday (May 30).
He had been wearing grey shorts, a grey t-shirt and black trainers when he was last seen. The force says that as well as his Nottinghamshire connections, Zakai may also have travelled to Derby or Chesterfield.

Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Zakai to get in touch. An online contact form is available to make a report on the Derbyshire Police website.
Other forms of contact include phoning 101, messaging the force on Twitter and reaching them through Facebook. Those contacting police about Zakai should mention incident number 269 of May 30.
