A man believed to have a head injury and spotted wandering near major road in south Wales is being sought by police.
South Wales Police has said it's concerned about the welfare of a man seen in a layby on the A4067 not far from Ystalyfera mid-morning on Tuesday. Police think the man - spotted wearing a black Puffa jacket and shorts - has an injury to his ear.
A spokesman for the force said: "Officers are appealing for help to find a man last seen on the A4067 layby near Ystalyfera around 11.15am this morning. There are growing concerns for his welfare as it appeared that he may have suffered an injury to his head."
The unidentified man has also been sighted on the main road between Ystradgynlais and Godre Graig and possibly also on Canal Terrace. Inspector Jared Easton, from South Wales Police, said: "The man has been described as being white, of slim build with dark hair and stubble. He may be wearing dark clothing including a black Puffa jacket and grey shorts and have suffered an injury to his ear.
"It is believed he might also have been on the A465 between Ystradgynlais and Godre Graig and possibly also on Canal Terrace heading towards Penywaun."
Anyone driving in the vicinity of the areas mentioned between 10.45am and 11.45 am this morning who may have information, or has dashcam footage, is being asked to contact SWP online quoting reference number 2200311098.
