Police are appealing for information after a man vanished from Inverclyde.
Andrew Rankin was last seen in Union Street, Greenock at around 11.20am on Tuesday. The 55-year-old is described as being five foot, 10 inches tall and of a slim build with grey, short, receding hair.
When last seen he was wearing a black bubble jacket, a grey top with writing across chest, blue jeans and white shoes. He was carrying a black rucksack.
Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Police Division are 'growing increasingly concerned for his welfare' as officers trawl through CCTV in a bid to retrace his steps.

Police Sergeant Gary Arthur said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Andrew. This is an extremely worrying time for his family and friends.
“Officers are carrying out extensive searches and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace him but there have been no confirmed sightings of him. I would urge anyone who has any information on Andrew whereabouts or who has had contact with him to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2690 of Tuesday, June 28."
