Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a woman was reportedly dragged into a car in Stockport.
The incident happened on Yates Street in the Portwood area at around 9.40am yesterday (Thursday), police said. The vehicle involved - a silver Toyota Auris - approached the street from St Pauls Street.
The car's registration number was NG08KTP. Police believe this could have been a cloned number plate.

Around five minutes after the woman was reportedly dragged into the car, the vehicle was then spotted on Mersey Street. The woman appeared to get out of the car and approach a black Saab vehicle.
This vehicle's number plate was SY58SGV. Police again believe that this could have been cloned.
The Saab was seen to drive off quickly before the woman got back into the Toyota. This then drove off towards the town centre, police added.
The woman was described as being aged around 30 to 40 and around 5ft 6in tall. She was tall, blonde and was wearing all-black clothing.
The driver of the Toyota was described as being a while male aged in his 30s to 50s. He had dark-coloured hair, a bent nose and was wearing a black Stone Island jacket.
Officers said they are 'becoming increasingly concerned about the woman'. They 'want to make sure she is safe and well'.
