Police concern for welfare of teenage boy missing for nearly a week

Police have issued an appeal for information to find a 15-year-old boy who has not been seen since last Tuesday, July 4. Tomas Miker was last seen leaving an address in Newport at around 11.30pm on Tuesday.

He has links to Cardiff, in particular in the areas of Tremorfa, Ely and Splott. He was last seen wearing a green tracksuit, Gwent Police confirmed.

In a statement released on Monday, July 10, the police force wrote: "We’re appealing for information to find Tomas Miker who has been reported as missing. Tomas, 15, was last seen leaving an address in Newport around 11.30pm on Tuesday 4 July and officers are concerned for his welfare.

"He was last seen wearing a green tracksuit and has known links to Cardiff particularly areas in Tremorfa, Ely and Splott [...] Tomas is also urged to get in touch with us to confirm that he is safe and well."

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 or send the police force a direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2300222602.
