Two people were injured in a car crash on a busy road this evening.
Police were called out to Valley Road in Fazakerley at around 5.58pm today (Saturday) following reports of an accident. A police spokesman said the collision involved two cars.
The spokesman said that two people suffered minor injures. Police closed a section of the road while firefighters and paramedics attended the scene. Photographs taken at the scene showed that both vehicles suffered damage.

Further information about the injuries suffered was not available. The scene was cleared by police at around 7.30pm. A recovery vehicle removed the damaged cars from the scene.
