Police have charged a 37-year-old man following a crash which allegedly saw a ladder smash through the window of a school bus.
Cops launched an investigation after receiving reports of a crash on the B994 near Kemnay in Aberdeenshire at around 8.15am on Friday November 4. The coach was taking pupils to Kemnay Academy at the time of the incident.
Images shared on social media showed two large holes in windows on the vehicle, operated by Premier Coaches. A ladder allegedly fell from a passing van and collided with the vehicle during the morning rush hour.
Four days on, police confirmed that a man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. A report has been sent to prosecutors.
