Police car ends up on its roof in garden after crash

A police car was left on its roof after crashing into a garden on Saturday night. Video footage shows the scene after it crashed through a garden wall and flipped over.

The Cumbria police car was involved in a crash in Workington at around 9.30pm. It's believed the officers were on their way to an emergency at the time.

As reported by LancsLive, it collided with a red Suzuki car before going through the garden wall. The two officers inside came away with minor injuries.

No one else was hurt during the incident. The road was closed for some time while the crash was investigated and the cars recovered.

A video supplied to CumbriaLive by Donkey Junk showed the police patrol car on its roof after flipping over the garden wall. A number of residents gathered to look at the damage.
