A body has been found at an address in Skewen, Neath. South Wales Police were called to an address on New Road in Skewen on Monday morning (October 24) following reports of a 61-year-old man's body having been found.
According to the police force, the death is currently being treated as unexplained, with a post mortem being carried out to confirm the cause of death.
The police force said the 61-year-old has been formally identified and his next of kin have been informed. A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police was called around 10.40am on Monday, 24th October, following reports of a man’s body having been found at an address on New Road, Skewen.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained. A post mortem will be carried out to establish the cause of death. A 61 year old man has been formally identified. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers."
