Police were called to The Strand after reports of men acting suspiciously in the area.
A witness told the ECHO she spotted police running on Mann Island, near the waterfront, after seeing 'men with balaclavas on the roof' of a building on The Strand. Though they didn't know what had happened, the witness said they assumed both incidents 'were connected.'
Officers have since confirmed that they attended the area, at around 8.50pm, on Sunday, May 22, after receiving reports of men on the roof of a building. Police went to the scene but no one was found.
