Police ask for public's help after antisocial behaviour in Motherwell and Wishaw

Police are asking for the public’s help following reports of antisocial behaviour in Motherwell and Wishaw.

Officers confirmed they are investigating problems in Brandon Parade in Motherwell town centre.

Community police are aware and dealing with the reports made in partnership with the local businesses in the area.

Officers are also currently investigating reports of antisocial behaviour taking place on Stonecraig Road in Wishaw.

It has been reported that groups of youths are causing a disturbance throwing stones and damaging property.

A Police Scotland spokesman told Lanarkshire Live : “Community police are aware and dealing with the reports made.

“Please continue to report any incidents of antisocial behaviour and disorder that occur in your area via 101 or 999 in an emergency and together we can work to tackle incidents of local disorder.”
