Merseyside Police have arrested another person in connection to the murder of a 26-year-old woman.
Elle Edwards was fatally shot at the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey Village on Christmas Eve, however, she was not believed to be the target of the shooting. Merseyside Police have arrested a 31-year-old man from Tranmere on suspicion of conspiracy to murder - he is currently in custody where detectives will question him.
It comes after police arrested a 30-year-old man from Tranmere on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, as well as a 19-year-old woman from Rock Ferry on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Merseyside Police asserted that it has been given additional time to question them both.
