Police are appealing for the public's help to find a dementia sufferer who has gone missing from a care home in south Manchester. Marghani Abubakar, 60, left Richmond Care in Longsight at 6.55am on Thursday.
He was last seen on Parrs Wood Road at around 5.30pm that day. Mr Abubakar, who also has type-2 diabetes, is described as a 6ft and of average build.

The Somalian national was last seen wearing what police describe as a 'distinctive' blue t-shirt, dark trousers and sandals. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Officers are continuing to search for Marghani and are becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare and want to make sure he is safe and well."
Anyone with any information including CCTV regarding Mr Abubakar's whereabouts should contact GMP on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
