Woman injured after being hit by car: police investigate

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was hit by a car on the Central Coast.

Emergency services were called to Marks Road, Gorokan about 11am on November 2 after reports a pedestrian had been struck.

Traffic and Highway patrol police attended and found a 41-year-old woman with injuries to her arm.

Paramedics treated the woman before she was taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition.

As part of ongoing inquiries, police would like to speak to the driver of a blue Hyundai Getz that was seen in the area at the time of the crash.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash - or has any available dashcam or mobile phone footage - to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
