Police appeal to trace woman missing from South Wales who maybe in Lanarkshire

Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for help to trace a woman missing from South Wales who is thought to be in Cumbernauld.

Inta Soboleva, 30, was reported missing from the Treherbert area of South Wales on Friday, February 10.

It’s thought she travelled by bus to Cumbernauld and officers believe she may have been in the Abronhill area on St Valentine's Day.

Inta is described as 5ft 6in tall, of small build and has short red/brown tapered hair with blonde highlights.

Sergeant Ian Baxter said: “We’re becoming increasingly concerned for Inta and are keen to trace her to ensure she is safe and well.

“Inta is originally from Latvia and I would appeal to the Latvian community in Lanarkshire in particular to come forward if she has been in contact with anyone.

“It may be she has come to visit or someone has been offering her support in the local area.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2022 of 13 February, 2023.
