Police in Darlington are looking to find a man and child pictured riding on a quadbike in the Eastbourne Road area of the town .
The police have appealed for help identifying the man and child - who is pictured sitting in front of the adult on the vehicle.
Durham Constabulary has asked for the public to not comment directly on their appeal on social media, but instead to email PCSO Caroline Douglas.

The police issued two images showing the man and child riding the vehicle.
In the appeal, the police said: "Police are looking to identify the male and child in the below images taken from the Eastbourne Road area of Darlington.
"If you are able to provide any information, please do not comment on this post, instead please email PCSO DOUGLAS on caroline.douglas@durham.police.uk or contact 101/Crimestoppers. Thank you."
According to the Highway Code, quadbikes must be approved, registered, taxed and have an MOT (if needed) to be used on the road.
Most quad bikes cannot be used on the road because they do not meet road safety standards. Riders are asked to check with manufacturers as to the road-worthiness of their vehicles. It is possible to apply for "type approval" for specific quadbikes in order to use them on the roads.
