Police have launched an appeal to find the son of a woman who sadly passed away at Gatwick Airport station.

Jacqueline Fleur Chandenier, 56, suffered a cardiac arrest on a train at Gatwick Airport station around noon on Monday July 18.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

British Transport Police said her next-of-kin have been notified, but said Ms Chandenier is also believed to have a son who she was no longer in contact with.

Despite extensive enquiries officers have not been able to identify him to inform him of the tragedy.

They launched an appeal Friday, asking anyone who may have information about Ms Chandenier, or her son, to “urgently” make contact.
