Police appeal launched to help find missing Lanarkshire teenager

Police are appealing for the public’s help as part of their efforts to trace a 14-year-old girl who has been reported missing from Motherwell.

Helena McFadden was last seen about 1.20pm on Friday, May 26, and is described as 5’2”, with long red/auburn hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a pink tracksuit top and bottoms with a green and pink floral top.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Anyone who may have seen Helena since this time or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 3853 of 26th May 2023.”
