Police appeal launched in bid to trace missing Lanarkshire teenage girls

Police are asking the public for help in a bid to trace two missing Lanarkshire teenagers.

Officers are appealing for information as part of their efforts to trace 13-year-old Kaitlin Dundas and 13-year-old Chelsea Marshall, who has been reported missing from the Motherwell and Wishaw areas.

It is believed the two girls are together.

Kaitlin was last seen about 1pm on Saturday, April 15, and is described as five foot, with long brown hair, brown eyes, a petite build, with fair skin.

She was last seen wearing black leggings, a purple hoody, black body warmer and black Converse trainers.

Chelsea was last seen around noon on Saturday, April 15, and is described as five foot, with brown hair, blue eyes and a slim build. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black body warmer, black jogging bottoms and black & white trainers.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Anyone who may have seen either of these girls since this time or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 4253 of 15th April, 2023.”
