Police are urgently trying to find two people they believe may be able to help with the investigation into a shed fire and the deaths of two people in the Queensland town of Biggenden.
The bodies of local baker Todd Mooney, 54, and Kirra Mooney, 10, were discovered in the rubble of a burnt-out shed in the North Burnett town on December 20.
Police are treating their deaths as a homicide.
They have released photographs and CCTV recordings of several witnesses they believe may have vital information.
Police are appealing for a pair seen at the Ban Ban Springs service station, south-west of Biggenden, at about 12:30pm on the day of the fire to come forward.
They said the witnesses had no connection to the victims but police believe they may have information that can help their investigations
A third witness — a man also seen at the service station on the same day — has made contact with police.
Last week, Queensland Police said scientific examination indicated the fire had been deliberately lit and they suspected a third party was involved.
Police are also urging anyone who travelled between Goomeri and Biggenden between 11am and 1pm on December 20 to contact them.
