Northumbria Police have announced that a missing teenager from Consett has been found safe and well after a 15 day search across the North East.
Jack Swinburn, 16, left his address in Consett on Tuesday, August 9 - with his worried family unaware as to his location for more than two weeks.
He was first reported missing to Durham Constabulary, but after the teenager was believed to be in the Newcastle area, officers from Northumbria Police joining forces by issuing an urgent appeal for information on his whereabouts.
Northumbria Police today (August 24) confirmed that Jack has been found 'safe and well'.
