UPDATE: Police have now confirmed that Anthony Bryla has been traced "safe and well".
POLICE have issued an appeal for information in the search for a missing 13-year-old boy from Edinburgh.
Anthony Bryla was last seen in Buchanan Street, Leith at around 12am on Saturday January 6, police said.
He is described as being around 5ft 7ins in height, with medium-length brown hair and a fringe.
He was wearing black clothing at the time of his disappearance.
A spokesperson for Edinburgh police said: “We are asking for help to trace Anthony Bryla, 13, last seen at around 00.02am on January 6 on Buchanan Street, Leith.
“He is 5ft 7ins, medium length brown hair with a fringe and wearing black clothing.”
Anyone with information is encouraged to call 101 quoting reference 2865 of January 2.
