Police appeal for help to trace Lanarkshire man missing for more than a week

Police are appealing for information to help trace a Lanarkshire man who has been missing for more than a week.

James (Jamie) Reid disappeared from the Burnbank area of Hamilton.

The 44-year-old was last seen at 11pm on Saturday, June 24.

Jamie is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall and has grey hair and blue eyes.

Inspector Stevie Bryson, from Hamilton police station, told Lanarkshire Live: "Jamie has been missing for a number of days now.

"This is out of character for him and his family are understandably worried.

"We have a number of police resources dedicated to tracing him and I am now looking for assistance from the public.

"If you believe you have seen Jamie, or have any information, please contact 101, quoting incident 2469 of June 30."
