When last seen, he was wearing a navy Nike tracksuit, with a red and black Rangers FC top, a blue Trespass Jacket and blue and white Adidas trainers.

He was also carrying a black holdall.

John has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for his welfare.

Sergeant Scott Lamont said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for John’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts, to contact police.

“Local officers are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace him.

“I would ask that anyone who believes they may have seen John, or who has any other information, contacts us on 101, quoting reference 2976 of Monday, 25 July, 2022.”
