Police appeal for help finding missing Throckley man who hasn't returned from walking his dogs

Northumbria Police is calling for help in searching for a missing man from Throckley who did not return when he took his dogs for a walk on Saturday.

Kris Butler, 40, has not been seen since around 6.30pm - when he left his home to walk his two dogs on a track near Throckley Hall. He never returned and was formally reported missing at around 11.15pm.

Kris is understood to have mobility issues and the disappearance is said to be "completely out of character". His family and the police are increasingly concerned about his welfare and searches are ongoing.

Police are now sharing an image of Kris along with pictures of his dogs in hope of encourage anyone who has seen them or may have information as to their whereabouts to come forward.

Kris has been described as a white man about 6ft 2ins and with a skinhead hair cut and a slight bump on the top his skull - walks with a limp.

He was last seen wearing khaki tracksuit bottoms and a khaki vest top. He also had gold-framed mirrored Rayban sunglasses on him at the time he went missing. He also has distinctive tattoos - including a skull on his right arm and a ghost on his left.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101 or using the ‘Tell us Something’ page on the force's website, quoting reference M006429023.
