Police appeal after teenage girl goes missing from Lanarkshire town

Concerns are growing for a 15-year-old girl East Kilbride girl who has not been seen since yesterday afternoon.

Morgan Findlay left her home in Eider Place in the Greenhills area of the town around 1.30pm on Sunday, and may have taken a bus to Glasgow.

She is described as 5ft 2ins, slight build, brown eyes and brown hair with blonde highlights.

When last seen she was wearing a green jumper, blue ripped jeans and black and white converse trainers.

Police Scotland say she has connections in the Clydebank and Greenock areas.

A police spokesman said: "Anyone who has seen Morgan or knows where she is should contact us on 101, quoting reference number 3817 of Sunday, 3 July, 2022."
