Springburn residents have woken up this morning to police swarming the street and cordoning it off.
Glasgow Live has been told by a witness that both officers and forensics teams have been on Petershill Road since around 6am and are currently not allowing residents to leave their homes.
It is currently unclear why law enforcement are in the area.

Pictures show a large section of the street taped off and officers standing guard ensuring that no one passes through.
Police have been contacted for comment regarding the ongoing incident.
