Police and fire crews called out after car gets stuck on Metrolink tracks

Emergency services had to be called out tonight after a driver became stuck on the Metrolink tracks.

Police and fire crews were called to Shadowmoss Road, in Wythenshawe, south Manchester, on Thursday evening. Photos show them attempting to move the blocked vehicle.

The blockage has caused delays to the Manchester Airport Metrolink line on Thursday night. Transport for Greater Manchester have issued a statement on its website.
