Snow could fall across the UK in the next 10 days, according to a senior forecaster.
A polar blast is reportedly bringing a "growing threat" of snow to the UK as temperatures plunge. Air from Greenland and Iceland will surge across parts of the country with snow potentially falling from mid-November.
British Weather Services' senior meteorologist Jim Dale, said winter showers could arrive on November 21.

According to BirminghamLive, Mr Dale said: "It’ll be notably colder in south east but nothing out of the ordinary for the time of year. "This will be caused by the movement south of the jet stream - pulling in moderated polar air from Greenland and Iceland way."
There is no mention of snow in the Met Office forecast summary. The Met Office says starting from November 15, cloud is expected to be widespread, with outbreaks of rain most likely in western areas.
Into the middle of the period, one or more deep low-pressure systems are likely to develop to the west of the UK. Conditions are likely to remain unsettled with further outbreaks of rain and showers, especially in the west, where winds could be strong at times.
