The Poland Euro 2024 squad has been provisionally announced, with the nation returning to the European Championships for a fifth successive time after a gruelling qualifying campaign.
After finishing third in their Euro 2024 qualifying group, Poland had to go through the play-offs to secure their spot in Germany this summer. They managed to thrash Estonia in the semi-finals, but a nervy penalty shootout against Wales awaited them, which they duly won to book their place in the tournament.
Despite their struggles to qualify, though, the Poland Euro 2024 squad shouldn't be written off at all. Of course, they still have talisman Robert Lewandowski playing up front for them, while Wojciech Szczesny is in goal, Jakub Kiwior starts at the back and Napoli's Piotr Zielinski creates from midfield. There's great balance across the team, and even though they have one of the toughest Euro 2024 groups, they've still a great chance of reaching the knockout stages.
Indeed, drawn into a group containing France, the Netherlands and Austria is by no means easy, but there's always plenty of shocks awaiting international tournaments, and Poland will hope they can cause plenty.
Manager Michal Probierz will have to whittle his final team down to 26, however, meaning three unfortunate players will miss out on a spot in the squad heading to Euro 2024. UEFA has announced a deadline of June 7 for final squad submissions, the same day Poland play a friendly against Ukraine.
Aston Villa's Matty Cash has already missed out on the provisional side, after failing to recover in time from an injury he picked up towards the end of the club season.
This will be Poland's seventh consecutive major tournament appearance in all – they also featured at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups – and, as with every Euro 2024 side, FourFourTwo will bring you all the latest as we report live from the European Championship. That includes information on how to watch every game, as well as details on all the fixtures.

Poland manager: Michal Probierz
Michal Probierz is used to working with underdogs, having achieved his best results at 2009/10 Polish Cup-winning minnows Jagiellonia Bialystok. Promoted to the top job from the Under-21s after Fernando Santos' dismissal, the 51-year-old went unbeaten in his opening six games. "It's not about playing, but winning," he says of his solid style.
Poland’s star player
Robert Lewandowski
Arguably the finest forward of his generation, Robert Lewandowski probably rivals Zbigniew Boniek as Poland's greatest ever player but he has never come close to staring at an international tournament.
The rot began on home soil way back at Euro 2012. The Barcelona striker, who is 36 in August, may feel this is his last shot at making things right.

How many players are Poland allowed to take to Euro 2024?
The Poland Euro 2024 squad will be made up of 26 players, after UEFA announced in May that the expanded team size will remain for the tournament, having initially wanted to reduce them back to 23.
