Pokémon GO: Prepare for the Upcoming Global Tour with the Road to Sinnoh Event

There's still a month left before the Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global 2024 opens up for trainers to explore the Sinnoh region. Before the big day, everyone has the chance to prepare with the Road to Sinnoh event. It starts February 19 and runs until February 23.

There's going to be some interesting event bonuses available. For example, trainers can enjoy 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period. Then from February 19 to February 22, the Remote Raid Pass limit is increased to 10. From February 23 to February 25, trainers can look forward to experiencing no limit on Remote Raids.

Here are some of the activities trainers can do during the event:

    • Five-Star Raids (February 21)

      • Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: Mesprit
      • The Americas and Greenland: Azelf
    • Five-Star Raids (February 22)
      • Heatran
    • Five-Star Raids (February 23)
      • Origin Forme Giratina
  • These Pokémon hatch from 2 km Eggs:
    • Budew

  • Complete the research tasks to earn encounters with these event-themed Pokémon:

Paid Version

While the Road to Sinnoh is free, trainers have the choice to join the paid version. There are two activities which offer additional rewards.

At $5 per ticket, trainers can join the Road to Sinnoh: Raids where they can access event-exclusive Timed Research and other raid-themed bonuses. Rewards incude:

  • 10 Dialga Candy.
  • 10 Palkia Candy.
  • 5 Heatran Candy XL.
  • 5 Giratina Candy XL.
  • 5 Cresselia Candy XL.
  • 5 Darkrai Candy XL.
  • Eevee Fan Mask.
  • Additional 5,000 XP from completed raids.
  • 1 additional Candy awarded for catching Pokémon in raids.
  • 2 additional Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms each day.

The Road to Sinnoh: Hatch also needs a ticket which is priced at $5. Trainers get access to event-exclusive Timed Research and other Egg hatching–themed bonuses. Timed Research rewards include encounters with Pachirisu and Chatot.

Timed Research rewards also include the Pikachu Fan Mask avatar item and these extra bonuses:

  • 2× Hatch XP
  • 2× Hatch Candy
  • 2× Hatch Stardust
