It's a new month and that means new activities. This March in Pokémon GO, the Community Day is set to feature none other than the Fire Cat Pokémon Litten which is appearing more frequently in the wild. Those lucky enough may get a chance to encounter a Shiny version.
As a Pokémon, it possible for Litten to be evolved to Torracat. Those able to evolve Torracat during the even get an Incineroar which knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
Community Day is on March 16 from 2:00 p.m. (local time) to 5:00 p.m. (local time).
Event Bonuses
For this event, the bonuses are:
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event lasts for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event lasts for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
These bonuses mentioned lasts only during the duration of the event. However, there are two bonuses which are active even after the event is done until 10:00 p.m. (local time). These are:
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.
Bonus Raid Battles
The Community Day runs only until 5:00 p.m. (local time). Now even when the event ends, trainers can still participate in special four-star Raid Battles. Those who get the win in one of these raids results in more Litten appearing around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. This special Raid Battles lasts until 10:00 p.m. (local time) of the same day.
Event Bundles
Two Community Day bundles are going to be available during this event. These are:
- For 1,350 PokéCoins, trainers get:
- 50 Ultra Balls
- five Super Incubators
- one Elite Charged TM
- five Lucky Eggs
- For 480 PokéCoins, trainers get:
- 30 Ultra Balls
- one Incense
- three Super Incubators
- Lure Module
