Day 2 of Pokémon GO Fest 2020 is here, and so is Team Rocket. The dastardly Pokémon snatchers have started arriving en masse, taking over Pokéstops and floating on towards stationary trainers in balloons. The festivities won’t start until 10:00 AM local time, but thanks to trainers in places like New Zealand and Australia, we already know what’s going to happen.
The centerpiece of Day 2 is the special research “Rocket Straight to Victory”. which features battles with some grunts and all of the Team Rocket leaders, including Giovanni. While the special research is limited to ticket holders, there are some big rewards in there: Shadow Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, as well as the newly-introduced Shadow Mewtwo. You’ll also be getting generous portions of rare candy, stardust, max revives, and even a rarely-rewarded Super Incubator.
The big reward, however, is the new mythical Pokémon Victini, making this the third year in a row we’ve had a GO Fest mythical. You only get the special research if you buy a ticket, so let’s take a look at the steps and rewards.
