Dougie MacDuff has urged his Irvine Victoria players to take the battle for promotion to the final day of the season.
The Westenders face East Kilbride Thistle tonight having beaten the Jags 4-2 on Saturday.
Vics are in fifth place in the West of Scotland League Premier Division table – eight points adrift of the promotion spots.
A form slump at the wrong time has seen MacDuff’s men lose ground but the gaffer is convinced his squad still have a chance of going up.
However, the Victoria Park manager knows there is little margin for error in the business end of the campaign.
He said: “There’s still plenty of points to play for and we need to win our games.
“We know the teams at the bottom of the table are fighting for their lives to try and stay up.
“It’s massively important we take this to the last day as we started the season so well – up until the turn of the year, we were flying.
“All the teams around us are winning so we need all those points. We can’t leave anything unturned.”
Meanwhile, Vics host Kello Rovers this Saturday after completing their EK Thistle double header.
