There was a poignant moment during Friday night's PWC All-Stars ceremony as a tribute video was played in memory of GAA players that passed away over the course of 2022.
It was very striking that most of those featured were very young and should still have had their whole lives ahead of them.
At the end of the memorial everyone in attendance stood up and applauded.

Among the GAA family to have died this year were Damian Casey, Red Óg Murphy, Padraigh Griffin, Paul Shefflin, Brian Mullins, Kate Moran and Dillon Quirke.
At the end of the video a message in English and Irish appeared on the screen.
It read: "To all GAA members who went ar shlí na fírinne in 2022."
Later on in the broadcast, David Clifford scooped Footballer of the Year while Diarmaid Byrnes picked up the hurling gong.
With the football All-Stars having been named on Thursday, the issuing of the hurling team took centre-stage.
All-Ireland champions Limerick occupied seven spots on it, while runners-up Kilkenny had four.
The line-up was rounded out by three Clare players along with one sole Galway representative.
The selection in full: Nickie Quaid; Mikey Butler, Huw Lawlor, Barry Nash; Diarmaid Byrnes, Declan Hannon, Pádraic Mannion; David Fitzgerald, Adrian Mullen; Gearoid Hegarty, Kyle Hayes, Shane O’Donnell; Aaron Gillane, TJ Reid, Tony Kelly
